We have so much to talk about today!! First up, is the new kit from Ponytails Designs!

TSGT Week 4

This week on “This Scrapper’s Got Talent” we are suppose to update a layout that we made, but weren’t happy with. This was an easy choice for me because I had recently went through my layouts, looking at my very first few, and decided I needed to trash them and do them again. I’ve learned a lot of things that I simply didn’t know about when I made my first layouts.

The rules were that we had to use the same photo’s we had used before. One had to be a blended photo. We had to use 2 kits. Nothing more, nothing less. Simple right? Right…

So here are my two layouts. The first one, is the one I did months ago. I love the colors, I love the kit, I didn’t love the finished product.

So I picked out two kits I wanted to use: “A Noise with Dirt on it” by Ponytails Designs, and “For the Boys” by Scraps by Andrea. And this is what I came up with. I’m just hoping that the judges like it as much as I do:

Busy week!

Wow it has been a busy week! And it’s only Tuesday…

I made it through “This Scrapper’s Got Talent” week 3 and moved on to week 4. I honestly didn’t think I would make it this far, and am really floored by the people they eliminated this week. I don’t envy the judges in any way. I couldn’t do their job, for sure.

I am really looking forward to this week’s challenge for the contest. It is to redo a layout that we’ve done before, using the same pictures. The twist is that we have to use 2 new kits and one of the photo’s has to be blended. I am SO glad I found a fun and simple way to blend photo’s! Now I just need to decide which of my layouts to redo. I know it will be one of  my first layouts, as I was looking through them the other day thinking about how terrible they really are. I’ve learned a lot in the past few months.

Another thing that happened this week: I officially joined the “A Fish Design” creative team!! I can’t wait to work with the team and LilyAnn’s kits. You will be seeing a lot more designs coming across the blog that are from her store(s). She has a store at both Stuff to Scrap AND Scraps ‘N Pieces.

Last but not least, Ponytails Designs is releasing a new kit this week and it is absolutely beautiful! Full of reds, greens, pinks and cream tones, this kit is perfect for your summer photo’s.
